Welcome to Pro Wrestling Spotlight! Today I'm talking with the beautiful yet vicious Lexi Gomez, aka The Hollywood Horror.

Lexi Gomez is an independent wrestler and “The Hollywood Horror,” a devastatingly beautiful and scarily talented performer who wrestles for indie promotions like Florida Deathmatch Carnival, Pro Wrestling Action, and Pride of Wrestling.

You've been creating chaos in the women’s division in Pro Wrestling Action (PWA) as the Marvelz Champion for over 600 days and you're DCCW Wrestling Inc.'s Women's Champion! What’s it like wreaking that kinda havoc while being the star of the show?

Being a champion and having gold gives you the spotlight that really pushes you to top what you did last. I constantly look for ways to make people’s stomachs turn. That’s why I’ve been The Marvelz Champion for over 600 days.

I knew from a young age I wanted all eyes on me. Having the lights shining in my face, the roar of the crowd calling my name as soon as my music hits. It’s a wonderful feeling. [And] I'll do whatever it takes to remain the horror icon that the crowd knows and loves.

You’re definitely iconic! I think everyone who watches you wrestle knows it, too. What are some words you think people would use to describe you in the ring?

Horrifying, intriguing, and unsettling. I do whatever I can to intrigue the audience in the most unexpected and unsettling ways that at most times…is horrific.

I expect nothing less from The Hollywood Horror. Is that why Dean Taylor is at your side nearly every match and ready to capture each moment? How did your partnership start and what’s your favorite match with The Greatest Director?

Our dynamic started in PWA and we quickly took over. When Dean first approached me, we immediately clicked and began our reign of terror on the PWA roster. Ever since then, it’s been no stopping us from the demented behavior that we unleash every time we step through the curtain.

My favorite moment would have to be our Trick or Street Fight that we had last year at Monster Mash...leading us to our Match of the Year award!

That match was insane in the best way possible. When you and Dean attacked Marina Tucker with the double knee facebreaker and backstabber at the same time…that was crazy! What are some other moves you like to devastate your opponents with?

Anytime I give a nice kiss or lick on the face to my opponent, I love to hit them with my signature pump kick to the face that I call “An Establishing Shot.” And, of course, my finisher, “Under Pressure,” a sit-out powerbomb that I’ve put away many people with.

Some stunning yet dangerous moves. Who are some horror icons that inspired you to be so menacing?

I would say a lot of my inspiration comes from Tiffany Valentine from Bride of Chucky and Nancy Downs from The Craft. I love the beautiful and haunting energy that these sorts of characters bring to the table. Unhinged, unpredictable, menacing, and intriguing.

I'm an actress [and] I like to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. I leave the crowd wanting more. [It’s] what makes The Hollywood Horror so dangerous...you never know what jump scare lies ahead.
